Dieting FAQ

Healthy eating is not nearly as hard of a thing as people make it out to be. Once you persuade yourself that healthy eating is not a chore, and will make you feel better, and look great, and that you'll have fun in the process (that's right, dieting CAN be fun) the process will not be nearly as difficult.

The first thing you want to do is rid your cabinets and refrigerator of all tempting and unhealthy foods (yes, ALL of them) Not having these temptations will reduce your risk of caving into cravings. Donate the food to a local homeless shelter, or if you know of someone in need. Even the Bum that hangs around Wal-Mart. If you have a husband of children who protest to this, then I highly suggest buying your own refrigerator for your room, or for the garage that is off limits to everyone but you. And, of course, a place to store all of YOUR pantry items that is AWAY FROM THEIRS! If you even want to take it to the next level, have your husband put a lock on his refrigerator and cabinets, and make copies of keys for the kids. Then, when you've been good and deserve your treat.

The next  thing you want to do is fill your cabinets with fresh fruits, vegetables and lean meats. Fill your pantry with whole grain breads, beans and nuts.

When eating throughout the day, many people choose to have 2 or 3 big meals. This is bad! You want to aim for 5 or 6 small spaced out meals throughout the day. And you also want to not eat past 5 or 6 o clock.
